Model made for a competition to be part of the Canadian Pavilion at Venice Biennale 2012, the project was selected as Quebec Finalist and exposed at Parisian Laundry Gallery in Montreal.
DESCRIPTION
Psychomorphic dwelling of voluntary migration
In this personal retrospective project I scrutinized, confronting five past stories against on-going projects, how physical and psychological fluctuating boundaries of an architectural system can inform the construction of new physical reality.
MANIFESTO
In creating innovative, true personal and individual spaces, the design of dwellings is a constant challenge to cultural preconceptions and market logic. Narratives of voluntary migration throughout my life are translated in design agencies to inform my psychomorphic dwelling.
