Felix Schwimmer studied at Montreal University and The Bartlett (UCL) in London. His practice ranges from industrial and interior design to architecture. Previously he gained experience in diverse architectural firms working most noticeably for the Office for Metropolitan Architecture. He was guest lecturer and critic in University of Montreal, McGill University, University of Greenwich and The Bartlett school of architecture. In 2011 he co-founded the architecture collective E.A.T. (exploring architectural territories) that acts as a think tank practicing the potential of experimental projects. He is an award-winning designer and is now shortlisted to participate in the Migrating Landscapes for the Canadian pavilion at the 2012 Venice Biennale of architecture.

He was born in Canada from Korean and Dutch decent. He lived in UK, Italy, China and Canada. Speaks and works in French, English and Italian.
